What else will go on in the room--home office, retreat haven, television viewing, visiting with the children, reading, etc.?
Lastly, always consider the scale of your room. Many sofas and chairs appear roomy and comfortable in the store, but are actually too big for most homes. If you have a large room, high ceilings, or an open floor plan these over-stuffed pieces are fine.
